All Our Children's Advocacy Center provides coordinated services in a child/family friendly environment, where any victim of abuse can relay their experiences in a safe, age-appropriate, informal setting. The Investigative Protocol utilizes multi-disciplinary team approach with law enforcement, DCFS, state’s attorney, medical providers, and social service providers. A specially trained interviewer/investigator meets with the child and, if necessary, other team members observe through closed circuit equipment while the interview is video/audio recorded. This protocol reduces the trauma for the child and the number of interviews required to protect the child and hold the accused accountable.
The Center provides these services to children and their families:
- Multi-disciplinary Forensic Interviews (FI)
- Family Advocacy
- Therapy
- Legal Advocacy
- Medical Referrals
- Information & Referral
